FanDuel DFS – MLB Lineup Picks, Sleepers and Advice for 6/8/15

Kevin Luchansky analyzes some MLB DFS lineup picks & sleepers for 6/8/15 on FanDuel fantasy baseball daily leagues. His DFS advice and value picks help you win on FanDuel.

There is just an eight game slate scheduled for Monday, June 8th, so perhaps we'll have to get creative with our lineups.

Editor's Note: If you play on FanDuel, you should also check out RotoBaller’s DFS Partner DraftKings - they're hosting a one-day Fantasy Baseball league tonight. It's FREE to enter and pays out $100,000 in cash prizes! Sign up Now and we'll give you free access to RotoBaller's Premium DFS Lineup Picks and Tools (a $29.99 monthly value). Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking

Blue Jays RHB versus Brad Hand

The Blue Jays' experienced right-handed hitters should have no problem picking on young Brad Hand. Toronto is the top ranked team offense when facing lefties, and they're the only team in the majors that has a batting average over .300 against them this season. As an added bonus, the game is being played in Toronto, where they lead the majors with 5.43 runs per game.

Royals LHB versus Phil Hughes

The left-handed bat heavy Royals could have a field day in Minneapolis as they take on Phil Hughes, who has struggled lately and seen his ERA balloon to 4.96. Kansas City has a .313 OBP, and they're ranked 10th in the league in wRC+ (100) when facing right-handed pitchers this season.

Honorable Mentions: Dodgers LHB versus Rubby De La Rosa, Rockies LHB versus John Lackey at Coors Field

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel Cash Games

A.J. Burnett - SP - Pirates ($9,200)

Burnett is having a great year and he takes on a Brewers team that ranks 28th in total offense against right-handed pitching this season and strikes out in more than 21 percent of their at-bats against righties. You'll have to pay a fairly steep price for Burnett, but he should be worth it.

Shelby Miller - SP - Braves ($8,700)

Miller and the Braves host a Padres team that has been boom or bust this season. The opportunity for strikeouts is ripe, as the Padres are bottom five in the league against right-handers with an OBP under .300. Miller is enjoying a really good season in his first go-around with the Braves and owns a 1.89 ERA with a ground ball rate nearing 51 percent.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel Tournaments

Lance McCullers - SP - Astros ($6,700)

McCullers pitched beautifully his last time out and has been impressive, most notably in the strikeouts department. There's also a bit of risk streaming him in a hitters' park, but the price is right.

Jason Vargas - SP - Royals ($6,300)

Every high upside pitcher you roll with in a tournament carries a certain amount of risk attached to it, and this is no different. The Twins have been pretty middle-of-the-pack overall against left-handed pitching

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Russell Martin - C - Blue Jays ($3,000)

This is a pretty fair price for a catcher who hits in the middle of the order in a lineup that could be one of the best stacks of the day.

Yasmani Grandal - C - Dodgers ($2,900)

As is the case with Martin, Grandal hits in the middle of the order against a pitcher he and his teammates should feast on.

Freddie Freeman - 1B - Braves ($3,900)

Freeman has been really hot lately, and he is 6-for-10 lifetime against Ian Kennedy with a home run.

Josh Donaldson - 3B - Blue Jays ($4,800)

The price actually makes sense when you stop to consider Donaldson is slugging over .600 against left-handed pitching. He's a no-brainer if you can afford him.

Mike Moustakas - 3B - Royals ($2,400)

Moose could be a great play in tournament formats with that low price and .459 slugging percentage this season.

Eric Hosmer - 1B - Royals ($3,300)

The Hoz is hitting .305 this season with a .495 slugging percentage. He has a favorable matchup against the struggling Phil Hughes.

Jimmy Rollins - SS - Dodgers ($2,500)

Rollins has very favorable stats, hitting for high average and a solid slugging percentage when facing right-handed pitching. He could be slotted into a Dodgers' stack, too, especially at that price point.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Andre Ethier - OF - Dodgers ($2,700)

It's highway robbery when you can roster a guy slugging over .500 for his career against righties for under $3,000 on FanDuel.

Jose Bautista - OF - Blue Jays ($4,900)

Bautista is the proud owner of a .387 OBP and .558 slugging percentage against lefties for his career. The fact the game is being played in Toronto only makes this option - and the rest of his Jays teammates - a juicier one.

Joc Pederson - OF - Dodgers ($4,000)

He is without a doubt going to be a popular pick, but with such a short slate, you can't afford not have him, especially against right-handed pitching with all the pop he's showcasing.

Honorable Mentions: Charlie Blackmon - OF - Rockies ($4,100), Matt Holliday - OF - Cardinals ($3,400), Carlos Gonzalez - OF - Rockies ($3,700)
