FanDuel DFS - MLB Lineup Picks, Sleepers, & Advice for 10/11

Well, yesterday was interesting to say the least. The Chase Utley slide swung the momentum for the Dodgers in a game they looked to be in big trouble. The Cubs fought back to even their series and head home with Jake Arrieta looming.

Today we get two ALDS Game 3s to analyze and use to make another winning lineup. Let's get to the picks.

Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking

Houston Astros versus Edison Volquez

Once again, stacking isn't my recommended strategy in the playoffs. If you feel compelled to, the Astros make a solid choice. Volquez struggled in his last appearance at Minute Maid Park (6 IP, 5 ER) and multiple Astros have had success against him. That includes George Springer, Jose Altuve, Colby Rasmusand Luis Valbuena.

Honorable Mention: Blue Jays versus Martin Perez (Must-win for Toronto, and numerous Jays have hit him well).

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Dallas Keuchel (SP, HOU) - $11,000

This pricing is criminal. Keuchel has a 1.64 ERA at home in 2015 and is coming off a six-inning masterpiece in the AL Wild Card game. Kansas City roughed Keuchel up in their last confrontation (6 IP, 5 ER) but that was at Kauffman Stadium. Ride the (likely) AL CY Young winner here.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Russell Martin (C, TOR) - $3,200

The top catcher according to our MLB Hitter Streamers Tool, Martin has a .937 OPS versus LHP in 2015.

Prince Fielder (1B, TEX) - $3,400

Another top play according to our system, Fielder has a .345 average versus RHP along with a .923 OPS. Just don't ask him to jump over a railing.

Rougned Odor (2B, TEX) - $2,900

Still not sure how his price remains so low. Odor has five runs and a HR already in this ALDS. Jose Altuve makes for a great contingency play should you have extra cash.

Luis Valbuena (3B, HOU) - $3,000

Valbuena has not looked great so far (1-for-7, five Ks) in the ALDS but that's the nature of the beast with Valbuena. He's either hitting it out or heading back to the dugout. If you can find the funds to roster Josh Donaldson by all means go for it, but I highly doubt it's feasible if you have Keuchel on your roster.

Alcides Escobar (SS, KC) - $2,300

This pricing is way too low for a leadoff hitter. Escobar finished Game 2 with a 2-for-5 line and a crucial triple to lead off the seventh inning, eventually scoring on a Ben Zobrist single. He's batting .286 versus Keuchel and provides a cheap speed option.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Delino DeShields Jr. (OF, TEX) - $3,300

The speedster was a big part of the Rangers success in Game 2 (3-for-7, 2 R, RBI, SB) and I expect that to continue in Game 3 for DeShields. He's a .290 hitter at home.

Colby Rasmus (OF, HOU) - $3,100

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Rasmus is entering Carlos Beltran circa 2004 territory with his start to the postseason. Now with three HR to his name, he gets a date with Volquez, a pitcher whom he owns a 1.143 OPS against.

Mitch Moreland (OF, TEX) - $2,700

Moreland has been quiet so far in the ALDS, but I anticipate today being his breakout party. He's 3-for-5 with a HR to his name versus starter Marco Estrada and had 18 of his 23 HR in 2015 versus RHP.
