DraftKings Main CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (10/19/24)

Cam Ward - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Saturday's Main Slate (10/19/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

For the second straight week, we have a dozen games on the main slate. We've got some good ones in the noon window. Auburn heads to Missouri. Virginia heads to Clemson to take on the Tigers. Miami is in Louisville for a date with the Cardinals. Nebraska is looking to spoil Indiana's undefeated start in Bloomington. South Carolina heads to Norman for the SEC Network early game.

The afternoon opens with Tennessee hosting the Tide for the Third Saturday in October rivalry. The Irish head to Atlanta to take on the Wreck. Michigan is in Champaign to face Illinois. Colorado heads down to Tucson to take on Arizona. Baylor heads to Lubbock to take on Tech. We end in College Park with the Turtles taking on USC.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/19/24, locking at noon EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Cam Ward, Miami (FL) ($10.8K)

Ward has that swagger that got everyone not in South Florida to hate Miami for a decade or more in the mid-80s. Do you know what else he has? At least 32 DraftKings points in every game. If you pay up for Ward, you're getting your money's worth. That's not always true in DFS.

Louisville is 90th out of 134 FBS teams in passing yards allowed per game. Ward is going for well over 300 yards again.

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado ($9.3K)

My main complaint about Sanders is that his offensive line is so bad that he's all but guaranteed to lose you a couple of points in rushing yards because of the sacks he takes. That said, he threw for 388 yards last week without Jimmy Horn Jr. and Travis Hunter for a combined seven quarters of that game.

Sanders will throw to anyone at any time. Colorado has a deep receiving corps, so even if Horn and/or Hunter miss time, the Buffaloes will still air it out against an Arizona team allowing 211.7 passing yards per game.

Miller Moss, USC ($7.2K)

It's time to talk about USC's schedule. Moss played half the game against Utah State in a blowout win, so his stats suffered. The other five games were against LSU, Wisconsin, Penn State, Minnesota, and Michigan. All of those teams have good or better defenses.

Moss against a team like Maryland could have a huge game. The Terps are allowing 258.3 passing yards per game. We could finally see that Miller Moss breakout everyone warned us about in August.

Sawyer Robertson, Baylor ($6.8K)

Have a gun (for a right arm), will travel. Robertson has 582 passing yards over the last two games with the Bears falling behind early and needing to catch up. He's had time to digest the playbook and it shows. For as good as the Texas Tech defense has been at times, they are still allowing 308 passing yards per game.

Also consider: Cade Klubnik, Clemson ($9.6K); Riley Leonard, Notre Dame ($8.1K); Noah Fifita, Arizona ($6.2K); Dylan Raiola, Nebraska ($4.7K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech ($8.4K)

Yes, Texas Tech has an "air raid" offense, but this is not the air raid of Mike Leach. I love Mike Leach. He may be my most favorite coach ever. However, he sullied running backs in an air raid system for eternity since he used short pass plays as the run game. That's his variation. A true air raid relies heavily on a run game as well.

Case in point: Brooks has at least 109 rushing yards in every game this season. Only Arizona State kept him out of the end zone. Brooks can and does put up a lot of points in this system.

Quali Conley, Arizona ($6.7K)

Conley was held in check by BYU, but still scored a touchdown to salvage his day. Colorado has allowed 160.83 rushing yards per game this year and 1.5 rushing touchdowns. Given Conley's work in both the rushing and passing game (11 receptions in the last two games), he has the potential for a huge game here.

Raheim Sanders, South Carolina ($4.7K)

We saw Quintrevious Wisner go nuts on Oklahoma last week since the Oklahoma offense couldn't keep Texas off the field. South Carolina excels at controlling the ball on offense and wearing defenses out. We know where this is going. Rocket had 20.3 DraftKings points against Alabama last week. I'll be shocked if he doesn't get close to that this week.

Xavier Brown, Virginia ($3.1K)

I like the Kobe Pace revenge narrative against Clemson, but Brown is a threat to house it every time he touches the ball. That makes him more of a GPP option, but Brown is averaging around 10 touches per game. That's solid volume for a guy just above the minimum price.

Also consider: Dylan Sampson, Tennessee ($8.7K); Kyle Monangai, Rutgers ($7.2K); Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame ($5.9K); Dante Dowdell, Nebraska ($4.7K); Josh McCray, Illinois ($3.8K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona ($8.3K)

This is Fifita and McMillan's game plan. If everything else goes wrong, just throw it up and expect McMillan to be there. He usually is. McMillan is a target hog and makes impossible catches seem routine. He's a monster game waiting to happen against Colorado.

Luther Burden III, Missouri ($8.1K)

This game could wind up being closer than Missouri wants. If that happens, Burden could be in for a huge game. Burden has done well in big games except for the A&M game where the offense imploded. The UMass game was a nice warmup. Things get real again this week for Missouri.

Pat Bryant, Illinois (6.3K)

This is not the 2023 Michigan defense and we need to quit acting like it is. Michigan has allowed 259.8 passing yards and two touchdowns per game through the air. Illinois is a run-first team, but they can change that if Michigan succeeds at stopping the run again. If they do, Bryant is the guy we want.

Colston Loveland, Michigan ($4.6K)

A quarterback's best friend is his tight end. This is especially true when said quarterback struggles to throw deep passes. Loveland has big catch totals no matter who is under center.

Jake Briningstool, Clemson ($4K)

Briningstool had his second game with over 100 receiving yards last week against Wake. He is always involved in the offense, but the chance of a game like this at a price like this is intoxicating in GPPs.

Also consider: Travis Hunter, Colorado ($10K); Xavier Restrepo, Miami (FL) ($8.2K); Malachi Fields, Virginia ($7K); Antonio Williams, Clemson ($6K); Zakhari Franklin, Illinois ($4.9K); Josh Cameron, Baylor ($4.6K); Montana Lemonious-Craig, Arizona ($3.4K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Arizona

Colorado is always involved in these exciting games because of their suspect defense. Arizona's offense has struggled this year, but it's keeping their prices low in a great matchup. Fifita and McMillan are locks. Quali Conley will get a lot of touches. I'm adding Montana Lemonious-Craig, who played at Colorado before Arizona, as a super-value revenge play.

USC

I mentioned USC's tough schedule earlier in the article. This is easily the best matchup of the year for the offense. Who should we play with Moss? Woody Marks has had a nice season, so add him. Ja'Kobi Lane seems to be the receiver we want.

Also consider: Colorado, Texas Tech, Miami (FL)
