DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/24/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on January 24th, 2023. Max Kulish provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Tuesday RotoBallers! Tonight we've got a solid 7-game slate, headlined by the TNT doubleheader. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 1/24/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

As always, feel free to follow my Twitter (@Maxadelphia) to keep up-to-date with NBA news and for my nightly NBA bets if you're into that sort of thing. Let's go!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Terry Rozier - PG, CHA vs PHX ($7,700 DK, $8,500 FD)

I'll be honest, it's rough out here for the guard options tonight, I know I wasn't expecting Terry Rozier to be the "pricey" option listed tonight. Rozier has been hot the last two games, shooting 45% from the field on 49 total attempts. He's playing huge minutes (34+ in 7 straight), so the floor should be stable as well. As long as LaMelo Ball remains out, Rozier is capable of putting up huge volume.

Derrick White - PG/SG, BOS @ MIA ($5,400 DK, $5,700 FD)

Coming off a surprising and disappointing loss in Orlando last night, the best team in the NBA will look to rebound again tonight, but they'll still be short Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon. White played 27 minutes, and he seems to be in line for a similar workload again tonight. White projects to have a very safe floor with a moderate ceiling, and I think his ownership will be at a discount because of the loss against the Magic.

Reggie Jackson - PG/SG, LAC @ LAL ($3,400 DK, $4,100 FD)

Jackson has been pretty solid on a per-minute basis of late, his issue is he usually sees no more than 20 minutes in a game. However, the stars could be aligning for him tonight. John Wall has been ruled out, the Lakers rank 25th in fantasy points allowed to PGs, and the Over/Under line opened at 232. If this game does finish high-scoring, those points will have to come from someone other than the obvious, more expensive candidates.

Others to consider: Luka Doncic ($12,600 DK, $11,900 FD), Tyler Herro ($6,800 DK, $7,400 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

LeBron James - PF/C, LAL vs LAC ($11,500 DK, $11,100 FD)

Doing everything he can (at least offensively) to keep the Lakers afloat without Anthony Davis, LeBron has posted 60+ DK points in 5 of his last 6. Davis is slated to return sooner rather than later, so this could be the last chance for a while to get LeBron as a true alpha. As I just mentioned; the total opened at 232 which should mean a high-scoring game.

Mikal Bridges - SF, PHX @ CHA  ($7,200 DK, $7,800 FD)

Bridges has stepped up in the absence of Devin Booker; he's posted 40+ DK points in 5 straight and 6 of 7. The Hornets rank dead last in fantasy points allowed to SFs and turn the ball over the 6th most in the NBA. Bridges finds his ceiling when he gets involved defensively, and the Hornets offer those types of opportunities.

Deni Avdija - SF, WAS @ DAL ($4,000 DK, $5,000 FD)

Avdija is in a position to see a huge uptick in minutes with an injury to Kristaps Porzingis, and a departure via trade to Rui Hachimura. Avdija has been more involved in the box score in games Hachimura has missed during their time together in DC, so I expect that trend to continue tonight.

Others to consider: Jayson Tatum ($11,100 DK, $11,200 FD), Jericho Sims ($3,900 DK, $5,000 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic - C, DEN @ NO ($11,600 DK, $11,600 FD)

Jokic had a stretch of games where his fantasy output wasn't matching his pricing – don't get me wrong, he was playing very well, but when your price tag exceeds $12k anything short of a huge performance is a let down. Now comfortably priced under $12k again, I love Jokic. He's triple-doubled in 5 of 6 games, and in his last game vs the Pelicans in early December, Jokic had 70 DK points and finished 1 assist shy of a triple-double.

Daniel Gafford - C, WAS @ DAL  ($4,300 DK, $5,800 FD)

Porzingis' injury benefits Gafford more so than anyone else on the Wizards' roster. Gafford scored over 30 DK points for the first time in 2+ weeks in the game Porzingis was injured, and that's factoring in the fact that Gafford missed the whole third quarter getting injury treatment. With all the high-priced options on the slate, you'll need to save somewhere, and it seems the Wizards are a prime spot for value tonight.

Others to consider: Jock Landale ($3,700 DK, $4,600 FD)
