DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (6/13/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on June 13, 2021. Mike Marteny provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a small two-gamer on the docket tonight with a couple of Game 4's. We tip off in Milwaukee with the Bucks trying to even the series after looking like garbage for the first two games in Brooklyn. They uglied it up just enough to win Game 3. For the nightcap, the Suns go for the sweep in Denver after winning the first three games by a combined 56 points. Ouch!

For tonight, we have the usual absences of His Beardness, Donte DiVincenzo, and Jamal Murray. Beyond that, Jeff Green and P.J. Dozier could both return tonight. If they do, it's a much-needed boost for the Denver guard corps and throws the Brooklyn forward situation into a bit of chaos. That said, both will likely be on minutes limits if they do play.

This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 6/13/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Devin Booker - SG, at Denver ($8,100)

It's not Booker's fault that his totals have been a little underwhelming. They're still good and definitely good enough for cash games. They wont win you any GPP's though. The Suns have rolled in the first three games. They simply didn't need Booker to dominate the games. I still like the upside on Booker, and he has been close enough to 5x value that he wont kill our lineups if the Suns win big again.

Chris Paul - PG, at Denver ($7,400)

This has been Chris Paul's series after Booker owned the court against the Lakers. I would expect that to continue considering CP3's low mark in the series is 49 DraftKings points. This price is proof positive that DraftKings got lazy with pricing in the playoffs. Paul needs to be used in every format. Differentiate your lineups elsewhere. You're not going to find the point-per-dollar dominance of Paul anywhere else.

Monte Morris - PG/SG, vs. Phoenix ($5,300)

Much as I expected, the minutes for Morris spiked once he started making shots. He put up 32 DraftKings points in 30 minutes in by far his best performance of the series. Morris is probably going to be closer to the Game 3 output than the last couple of games of the Portland series or the first two games of this series, making him a solid 5x value to plug in at a reasonable price.

Bonus Guards: Kyrie Irving ($9,300), Will Barton ($5,000), Mike James ($3,900), Landry Shamet ($3,200)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant - SF/PF, at Milwaukee ($10,300)

Giannis was more assertive on offense in Game 3, but I'm still leading towards K.D. Why? He shot just 39% from the floor in Game 3, by far the worst mark in the playoffs. He also missed five of eight from the foul line and still racked up 61 DraftKings points, which is a better tally than anything Giannis has done in the series. Durant has the higher floor and I would argue that the upside is just as high, if not higher thanks to the more peripheral numbers that he puts up.

Khris Middleton - SG/SF, at Brooklyn ($7,600)

Middleton played all but four minutes in the first win of the series for the Bucks, putting up 56.75 DraftKings points. Again, that's Giannis territory for a fraction of the price. Middleton is just as involved in the offense as Giannis and often approaches his rebounding totals. Middleton's atrocious shooting in the first two games helped depress his price and is the main reason I'm leaning on him as my main Bucks piece. Yes, his floor is lower and he's unlikely to outscore Giannis again, but Middleton can still drop 50 DraftKings points even if Giannis goes off.

Bruce Brown - SF, at Milwaukee ($4,700)

Brown played a whopping 38 minutes in the Game 3 loss, putting up 35.25 DraftKings points. The Nets needed his shooting and Brown hauled in 11 rebounds. That's not going to happen again if Jeff Green returns, but I think Brown will remain a reliable third option on offense. The Nets deep bench is doing a bang-up job of replacing Harden's scoring, but Brown is my far the most reliable. He's definitely worth the risk at this price.

Bonus Forwards: Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,800), Michael Porter Jr. ($6,300), Blake Griffin ($5,100), Jae Crowder ($4,600)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, vs. Phoenix ($10,600)

We saw a bit of a paradigm shift for Denver in Game 3. They still got blown out, but Will Barton and Monte Morris were more reliable and Jokic put up a whopping 78 DraftKings points in 40 minutes. This is what Denver is going to need to extend this series. The Suns' guards are going to continue to be an issue, but if Jokic can be more assertive and dominate again, Denver at least has a chance. His ceiling is the highest on the slate, and it's not close.

Brook Lopez - C, vs.Brooklyn ($4,400)

I do understand that the DraftKings pricing algorithm is at least in part based on supply-and-demand. However, I fail to see how Lopez's price dropped $200after 31.25 DraftKings points in Game 3. Sure, the 1-7 from the floor is as ugly as ugly gets, but we aren't playing BroLo to score. He's in there for rebounds and blocks anyway. He's an excellent value at this price.

Bonus Centers: Nikola Jokic ($6,500), Dario Saric ($3,100)
