DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/7/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on November 7, 2021. Thunder Dan Palyo provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Sundays in November aren't just for NFL football! After most of those games are finished we get a really juicy seven-game NBA DFS slate that tips off at 6:00 PM EST.

Khris Middleton, Jakob Poeltl, Kevin Love, and Lauri Markkanen will continue to be out today due to COVID restrictions and some important questionable players to monitor would include Malcolm Brogdon and Cole Anthony as their absences could open up a lot of minutes and usage for Indiana and Orlando, respectively.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/7/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Caris LeVert - PG/SG, IND at SAC ($6,900)

LeVert hurt a number of my lineups on Friday night with a very pedestrian outing against the Blazers and missed a golden opportunity to go off against the Blazers as the lead guard for Indy as Malcolm Brogdon sat out. The good news is the minutes cap is off and Brogdon might miss tonight's contest against the Kings, too, giving LeVert a chance to redeem himself to DFS players. In this matchup, I'm back in on him as his price didn't budge and we know what he's capable of doing.

RJ Barrett - PG/SF, NYK vs. CLE ($6,800)

I'll be the first to admit that I usually don't play Barrett much and last year he was a guy I would use only in cash games here or there as he had a decent floor, but nearly no ceiling as Julius Randle was hogging up all the boards and assists in this Knicks' offense.

But this year we are seeing an improved version of Barrett and he's asserted himself as the second option in the New York offense after Randle. He's already posted a 50+ DK point outing once this season and is running particularly hot of late with 20+ actual points in five straight games. This game has a low total, but we shouldn't shy away from it totally as there are some fairly priced plays like Barrett that could exceed their salary-based expectations.

Jordan Poole - PG/SG, GSW vs. HOU ($5,800)

Poole is another attractively priced guard in the mid-tier today. With 27, 47, and 30 DK points over his last three games it's easy to see why we would consider the Warriors two-guard in our lineups. He's the second scoring option for the Warriors and should be able to fill it up tonight against a young Rockets team that offers little resistance on defense. There's the potential for some steals here tonight, too, as Houston turns the ball over more than any other team in the league.

Others to consider: T.J. McConnell ($5,300), Derrick Rose ($4,800), Josh Giddey ($6,300)

DraftKings Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Paul George - SF, LAC vs. CHA ($10,400)

I had PG13 in my lineups on Friday night and I was bummed that he didn't totally smash as he had a good matchup against the Wolves. But consider that he still managed to score 48 DK points even while shooting 4-20 from the field and turning the ball over six times.

Today he'll face a Charlotte team that is playing fast and loose this year. They're also allowing some big performances to opposing wing players and George has the perfect skillset (three-point shooting, rebounding, steals) for this type of pace-up spot. The Hornets allowed 140 points to Sacramento on Friday night, so we should really consider targeting multiple Clippers with George being the first priority.

Keldon Johnson - PF, SAS at OKC ($5,500)

Johnson has been anything but consistent this season, but he's certainly flashed enough upside for me to strongly consider him at this price point in a good matchup against the Thunder. With Jakob Poeltl still out, Johnson should get a lot of rebounding opportunities as the Spurs have been playing small with Eubanks or Thaddeus Young playing center. The minutes are trending up here for Johnson as he's played 31 and 33 over his last two games and if that continues, he should be able to make value on this price tonight.

Bobby Portis - PF, MIL at WAS ($4,600)

Portis is a strong option for me tonight as Brook Lopez continues to be out for Milwaukee. He's not starting, but he's playing 20-22 minutes off the bench and getting a large chunk of usage with the second unit as a small-ball center. This game has some potential to be one of the higher scoring games on the night and if Portis is making shots, he could crush this price tag as he's also going to grab boards and likely block a few shots.

Others to consider: Royce O'Neale ($4,100), Nicolas Batum ($4,700)

DraftKings Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jarrett Allen - C, CLE at NYK ($7,100)

Allen's price is steadily rising, but it's still too cheap for his recent production. With the Cavs having two of their big men out of the rotation they have basically been playing an 8-man rotation and letting their young big men Allen and Mobley log 40 minutes a night. Allen has 56, 55, and 41 DK points in the three games that both Love and Markkanen have missed, meaning he's hit 6x on this price even in his worst outing of the three!

Ivica Zubac - C, LAC vs. CHA ($4,800)

Zubac is a cheap center that I love today. He's played 34 and 31 minutes in his last two games and has always been a solid per-minute contributor in fantasy. The Hornets often get abused on the boards and we saw that come to fruition on Friday night when Richaun Holmes posted 20-20 against them. With Marcus Morris out again, Zubac should see plenty of run even with Serge Ibaka set to return (who is likely to have a hard minutes cap after missing the entire season so far).

Others to consider: Drew Eubanks ($4,400), Daniel Gafford ($4,400)
