DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (5/7/16): NBA DFS Advice

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 5/7/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

How about that Hawks/Cavs game last night? That game was outstanding and arguably the best of the playoffs.

Okay, back to business. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/7/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

Without wasting anymore time, here are the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

DeMar DeRozan (at MIA, $7,300)

DeRozan has been a key part of the Raptors offense, as he has taken 20+ shots in each of his last three games. He has also played 40+ minutes in each of the Raptors two games in this series. He has been playing extremely well in his last few games, and he will likely continue to lead the Raptors tonight. He isn't as expensive as some of the other elite options, but he possesses great upside, and he can be used in all leagues.

Shaun Livingston (at POR, $5,700)

Livingston is one of the cheaper consistent guard options on this slate, assuming Stephen Curry is ruled out. Curry is currently doubtful, so it's a fairly safe bet that he will be out. Livingston has scored 20+ fantasy points in eight consecutive games, and he will get another great matchup against a fast paced team tonight. He isn't the most flashy player, but he isn't all that expensive and he's consistent.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Draymond Green (at POR, $11,200)

Green's price is out of this world, but so is his recent play. He has been dominant without Curry in the lineup, and he has scored 55.5 and 68.25 fantasy points in his first two games against the Blazers. He has triple double potential every time he steps on the court, and he recently was able to triple double against the Blazers. Green is an extremely safe option with great upside, but he isn't going to come cheap.

Luis Scola (at MIA, $2,000)

It kills me to recommend Scola, but you're going to have to find value somewhere. Scola will likely be playing minutes in the teens tonight, but he has the ability to score 20+ fantasy points in that amount of time. That would be great for his price tag, and he will allow you to use multiple expensive players. He is best suited for GPPs, but he could be the key to winning a huge GPP.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Jonas Valanciunas (at MIA, $7,000)

JV seems to slide under the radar a bit for the Raptors, as people tend to talk about DeRozan and Lowry, but he has been a huge part of their success. He has scored 41.5 and 57.0 fantasy points in each of his two games against the Heat, and the Raptors recently said they will be looking to get him more touches. Valanciunas is arguably my favorite play for his price on the entire slate tonight.
