Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 1/27/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

Is anyone else shocked at how easily the Warriors handled the Spurs the other night? I understand they were without Timmy D, but that was entirely too easy for them.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/27/16. The DFS picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Stephen Curry (vs DAL, $10,700)

It’s tough to avoid Curry right now, as he has been hitting value in limited minutes and exceeding value when playing a full game. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 34.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 2.6 steals in 32.5 minutes per game. He has been able to reach value in blowouts recently, while flashing 80 fantasy point upside when given a full games worth of minutes. I’m not certain the Mavs will be able to keep this game close, but Curry is in play solely based on his unbelievable upside.

Kyrie Irving (vs PHO, $6,500)

Irving has been having somewhat of a down year, but it has caused his price to drop, and he still possesses huge upside. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Suns, who have struggled to defend anyone, including point guards. The Cavs are now running at a much faster pace with their new head coach, and Irving has been shooting the ball more. He is too risky for cash games, but he’s a good GPP option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Rodney Hood (vs CHA, $5,900)

Hood is playing big minutes for the Jazz, as he’s averaging 34.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s also producing well in those minutes, averaging 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game over that span. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Hornets, who have really struggled against shooting guards this season. Hood has the ability to fill up the scoreboard, as he has scored 35 and 46.5 fantasy points in two of his last three games. Even though he comes with a big of risk, Hood can be used in all leagues in a great matchup tonight.

Archie Goodwin (at CLE, $4,800)

Goodwin is finally playing big minutes for the Suns, and he has been on fire. He can be used in all leagues until his price either jumps a few thousand dollars or Brandon Knight returns. In his last three games, Goodwin is averaging 23.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 block, and 1.7 steals per game. He gets a decent matchup against an average Cavs defense. The Cavs have been playing at a much faster pace under their new head coach, which means Goodwin will see a few extra opportunities for fantasy points tonight, and he should be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

LeBron James (vs PHO, $9,900)

The Cavs new head coach is running a faster pace offense, which is giving James more opportunities each night. He’s also playing James heavy minutes each night, which can only help his upside. In his first two games under his new head coach, James scored 62.75 and 45.5 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against an injured Phoenix team, and they have no one that will be able to slow James down. He isn’t quite priced above $10,000 yet, and James can be used in all leagues.

Jonathon Simmons (vs HOU, $3,100)

It looks like Simmons has worked his way into the San Antonio offense with a few injuries to their big men. Tim Duncan will likely sit out again tonight, which means Simmons will play around 25 minutes. He isn’t the best fantasy player in the world, but he’s extremely cheap and he’s averaging slightly less than 1 fantasy point per minute on the season. He has the ability to score 25+ fantasy points in a game, and he’ll allow you to get one of the elite options, such as Curry onto your team.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Paul Millsap (vs LAC, $8,300)

Millsap has to be one of the best players in the NBA that doesn’t get a price bump. He has been right around this price for as long as I can remember, yet he has consistently been hitting or exceeding value. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 19.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 2.2 steals per game. He gets a matchup against the Clippers, who are dealing with an injury to one of their star players, and no one is going to be able to guard Millsap. He can score in each of the five categories, and he makes a great option in all leagues tonight.

Ersan Ilyasova (vs PHI, $5,500)

Ilyasova has somewhat slowed down his dominant play recently, but his price has yet to catch up to his production. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 13.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Sixers, who he scored 37.5 fantasy points in only 25.4 minutes against earlier this season. Ilyasova certainly comes with some risk, as he tends to disappear in random games, but he’s cheap enough to be used as a GPP flier tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond (vs PHI, $8,500)

Drummond has been awful recently, as he has scored 17.5 and 17.0 fantasy points in his last two games. He has also flashed his upside, though, as he scored 56.5 fantasy points in the game before those. Tonight, he gets a matchup made in heaven, as the Sixers have a terrible defense, and will be looking to push the pace. Drummond is also averaging 18.4 points and 16.2 rebounds at home this season, and he’s an extremely high upside GPP option tonight.
