Atlanta Falcons - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Falcons will look to keep things rolling after picking up a 27-24 over the Chicago Bears. Atlanta entered the game as a -2.5 point favorite and went on to cover the spread. With their combined 51 points, the two teams exceeded the betting over-under number of 48. On their way to picking up a 3-point win, Atlanta held a 7-point lead heading into the 4th quarter at 24-17. Through 11 games, the Falcons have an ATS record of 7-4. So far, they have an over-under record of 6-5. This week's betting total of 42.0 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Falcons' offense is averaging 23.55 points per game, placing them 12th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together another strong offensive performance, as they are facing a Commanders defense ranked 15th in points per game. The Falcons come into the game ranked just 31st in both passing attempts and pass yard. We expect them to struggle again through the air, as Washington is 12th in pass yards allowed. A key matchup to watch through the game is if Atlanta will be able to run the ball with their usual effectiveness. Even though they are averaging 159.36 yards per game on the ground, look for them to struggle against a defense that can be tough to run against.

Washington Commanders - NFL Betting Analysis

Last week, the Commanders knocked off the Texans by a score of 23-10. Washington also picked up an ATS win, with a point spread of -3.0. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 41. On their way to picking up a 13-point win, Washington held a 17-point lead heading into the 4th quarter at 20-3. Through 11 games, the Commanders have an ATS record of 6-4-1. So far, they have an over-under record of 4-7. This week's betting total of 42.0 is right in line with their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Commanders' offense is averaging 19.45 points per game, placing them 23rd in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Falcons defense giving up 27.4 points per game. Although the Commanders come into the game ranked just 21st in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing an Atlanta secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Washington to have an above-average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, our projections show that the Commander's offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against an Atlanta, look for Washington to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 116.09.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Falcons vs. Commanders

Atlanta comes into the game looking to continue their recent success over Washington, as they have won 2 of their last 3 matchups. The two teams have combined to average 53.33 points per game in their last 3 meetings. This season, the Commanders will look to grab another win over Atlanta, as they won last year's meeting by a score of 34-30. Washington covered the spread as -2.0 point favorites. Heading into the game, the over-under line was set at 47.5 points.

The Washington Commanders have gone 2-1 vs the spread in these games. On average, the Falcons have averaged 31.0 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Washington at 22.33.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Falcons have gone 1-2 straight up. Like their straight-up record, Atlanta struggled vs the spread, going 1-2. Over these games, they put together an over-under record of 1-2.

Although Atlanta has a straight-up record of 0-3 in their last 3 road games, they have not held up as well vs the spread going 1-2. The team averaged 15.67 points per game in these games.

Through their last 3 games, the Commanders have a record of 2-1. In these games, they have a 2-0-1 record vs the spread and an over-under mark of 1-2.

In their last 3 games at home, the Commanders have a straight-up record of 1-2 while going 1-1-1 vs the spread. The team averaged 19.0 points per game in this stretch.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Falcons 4.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 42.0
