Dallas Cowboys - NFL Betting Analysis

Dallas will look to add on another win, as they picked up a non-conference victory over the Tennessee Titans (27-13). This win was paired with an ATS victory, as they went into the game by -13.5 point favorites. On their way to picking up a 14-point win, Dallas held a 4-point lead heading into the 4th quarter at 17-13. Through 16 games, the Cowboys have an ATS record of 10-6. So far, they have an over-under record of 9-7. This week's betting total of 41.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Cowboys offense is averaging 28.8 points per game, placing them 2nd in the NFL. Look for the team to put together another strong offensive performance, as they are facing a Commander's defense ranked 14th in points per game. Although the Cowboys come into the game ranked just 14th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Washington secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Dallas to have an above-average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, the Cowboys should be in line for a good performance, as they are one of the better-rushing teams in the league and are facing a defense that has its problem stopping the run.

Washington Commanders - NFL Betting Analysis

Heading into week 18, the Commanders will look to get back in the win column, as they are coming off a 24-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns. With the loss, Washington failed to cover the spread, as they had a -1.0 advantage on the spread. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 41. In the game, Washington trailed the Browns by a score of 17-7 heading into the 4th quarter. Through 16 games, the Commanders have an ATS record of 7-8-1. So far, they have an over-under record of 5-11. This week's betting total of 41.5 is right in line with their previous games.

As the Commanders prepare to take on Dallas, they are ranked 25th in points per game at 18.4 and are facing the NFL's 7th-ranked defense. This week, look for the Commanders to struggle in the passing game, as not only have they struggled to move the ball through the air, but they are facing a secondary ranked 9th in passer rating allowed. On the ground, our projections show that the Commander's offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against a Dallas, look for Washington to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 124.5.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Cowboys vs. Commanders

Looking back at the recent matchups between Dallas and Washington, the Commanders have taken 3 of the last 5 contests. The over-under record in these games sits at 2-3, with the average scoring total coming in at 47.4 points. Heading into the second meeting of the season between these two teams, the Cowboys already have a win over the Commanders. In the previous matchup, Dallas won by a score of 25-10. In addition to winning the game, the Cowboys covered the spread as -4.0 point favorites. Last season, the Cowboys and Commanders met up for 2 games, with Dallas winning both matchups by scores of 56-14 and 27-20.

The Dallas Cowboys have gone 3-2 vs the spread in these games. On average, the Cowboys have averaged 25.4 points per game in the past 5 head-to-head matchups, compared to Washington at 22.0.

Dallas has put together a record of 2-1 over their past 3 games. The team has also been excellent vs the spread, going 2-1. Their over-under record in these games was 2-1

In their last 3 road games, Dallas has averaged 33.67 points per game while allowing 18.67. The team's record in this stretch was 2-1 while going 2-1.

Through their 3 most recent regular season matchups, the Commanders have gone 0-3. Like their straight-up record, Washington struggled vs the spread, going 0-3. Over these games, they put together an over-under record of 1-2.

Through their last 3 home games, Washington has an ATS record of just 1-2. However, their overall record was 1-2 while averaging 13.67 points per game.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Cowboys -4.0

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 41.5
