Welcome back, RotoBallers, to our daily home run prop bets! After a slower Thursday slate, all 30 MLB teams are back on the diamonds this Friday, giving us plenty of strong options to consider as we hunt down some homers. Even without Coors Field or Sutter Health Park, there are a few good matchups and props that we can lean into to get the weekend started on the right foot.

In each of my Friday articles, I'll break down my top four home run prop picks, including a few long-shot plays that I think bring extreme value. The starting pitchers on the mound this Friday are mostly towards the back of the rotation, offering a few juicy spots to attack.

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (4/10/2026)

Here are all the hitters I'll cover for HR props on Friday, April 10.

Owen Caissie OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+710 FanDuel)

Let's start with one of the early games this evening as the Marlins roll into Detroit to take on the Tigers. Marlins top prospect Owen Caissie has gotten off to a fast start after joining the Fish this offseason as the main return in the Edward Cabrera trade. Caissie showed plenty of power in his rise to the majors and is delivering on his upside early in the season.

The 23-year-old lefty hit 22 homers in 99 games at Triple-A last year and got his first MLB homer in a 12-game cameo. In his 12 games with the Marlins this year, he has gone 11-for-34 (.324) with a pair of home runs, including this walk-off against the Rockies:

Caissie has impressive metrics to start the season, including a 27.3% Brls/BBE% (barrels per batted ball event rate) that ties him for the MLB lead with Shohei Ohtani. His hard-hit rate is a little low, but his launch angle and sweet spot numbers are excellent.

On Friday, Caissie and the Marlins face Tigers' right-hander Keider Montero, who didn't give up a home run in his first game this season, but served up 16 homers in 20 games (12 starts) last year. Lefties hit 10 of those 16 homers and posted a .384 wOBA against Montero last year, and 12 of those 16 homers that he gave up were at Comerica Park.

While Detroit isn't a hitters' haven for sure, the wind will be blowing out to right-center, setting Caissie up well, and the game-time temps are forecast to be in the upper 40s. While not ideal, it isn't a situation that must be avoided, and there's a lot of value in attacking Montero with this young power lefty who is catching so many barrels. Caissie is a long-shot play. I like to start the Friday party early.

Josh Bell OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+526 DraftKings)

Bell and the Twins just completed a surprising four-game sweep of the Tigers and will head to Toronto, where they'll take on the struggling Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Bell is off to a good start for the Twins, after signing a one-year, $7 million contract with a mutual option for 2027 this past offseason.

In his first 13 games with the Twins, Bell has gone 13-for-41 (.317) with a 53.6% hard-hit rate, a .463 wOBA, and three home runs. His most recent homer helped the team complete the sweep of Detroit on Thursday.

The 33-year-old switch-hitter has typically shown a little more power from the left side when facing right-handed pitching, but he already hit one homer this season off a lefty, and he has a favorable matchup against another lefty in the first game of the series in Toronto.

Patrick Corbin gets the start for the Blue Jays after joining the team on a one-year deal earlier this month, after the team lost Cody Ponce (knee) to a potentially season-ending injury. He threw five innings in Single-A and gave up just one unearned run, and he'll get the chance to slow down Bell and the Twins on Friday. Last year with Texas, Corbin gave up 21 homers in 31 games, which was actually a big improvement after giving up 25+ homers in each of the previous four years with the Nationals.

Bell has had success against Corbin in the past, going 4-for-16 with a double and three home runs. With his hot start to the season and indoor conditions in Toronto, Bell has a good shot of going yard at over 5:1 odds on most sportsbooks.

Jake Bauers OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+444 Underdog)

While I'm not sure I love the new City Connect look for the Brewers, debuting this Friday, I am sure I love the matchup they have as they come home to start their weekend series against the Nationals. They'll be taking on Jake Irvin on Friday night, which is always a matchup worth noticing.

Last year, Irvin gave up 38 homers, more than any other pitcher in Major League Baseball. He gave up 26 of those 38 homers to lefties and 21 of those 38 homers on the road. He's given up two homers in his first two starts this season as well, allowing eight runs on 11 hits over nine innings against the Cubs and Dodgers.

Jake Bauers had a rough road trip, but facing Irvin in his return to American Family Field should help him turn things back around. He started the season 6-for-23 in his first six games, including a pair of home runs.

He went just 1-for-15 on the team's road trip, though, and his only hit was a double. The 30-year-old lefty actually had better road splits than home last year, so the imbalance is likely just a result of a very small sample size early in the season.

In this great matchup against Irvin, the Brewers and Bauers should be in a good spot to get back on track, coming back to the dome after playing some cold games in Kansas City and Boston.

Wilyer Abreu OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+441 Novig)

Speaking of Boston, the Red Sox are headed to St. Louis for the weekend, and they'll start the series against their former starter, Dustin May. May had a quick stop with the Red Sox at the end of last year after coming over in a trade from the Dodgers. May signed with the Cardinals as a free agent this offseason but hasn't been able to get on track in the early going.

In his first two starts, May has allowed 13 runs on 17 hits (including two homers) over just 7 1/3 innings. The Rays scored six runs in four innings against him, and the Tigers reached him for seven runs in 3 1/3 innings in his last outing. Specifically, lefties have given him problems, hitting .500 (10-for-20) against him with two homers, a 1.000 SLG, and a .637 wOBA.

While the Red Sox have struggled offensively, Abreu has been one of the few bright spots. He is 10-for-47 (.383), with four doubles, a triple, and three home runs for a .319 ISO and .488 wOBA through his first 12 games this season. All three of his home runs came on the Red Sox's first road trip of the season, and he'll hope to start the team's second trip with another long ball in St. Louis.

After starring for Team Venezuela in the WBC, Abreu looks well on his way to a breakout season, and this juicy matchup with May sets up well for him this Friday. With the switch-hitting Bell and three power-hitting lefties in this post, hopefully, we can get a hit or two on these home run props to start the weekend in style!
