I am a diehard sports fan with a serious love for the Seattle Seahawks. However, I am a fan of all Seattle sports including the Kraken and the Mariners. I grew up around sports playing basketball, football, and lacrosse growing up. I went on to play lacrosse in college in Massachusetts and I have settled into the New England region for the time being. To this day I receive grief in New England about the infamous 1-yard line interception in the Super Bowl. Outside of sports I enjoy everything that has to do with the outdoors. Staying active is a big part of who I am and that manifests itself in sports and the outdoors for myself.

Dameon Pierce Picks Up A DNP On Tuesday

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce (groin) did not practice on Tuesday. Pierce's lack of practice comes at a time when the Texans need all hands on deck. Pierce serves as the Texans' backup running back and kick returner. He is far more valuable to the team in his kick return role because starting running […]

Jaguars Sign Velus Jones. Jr.

The Jacksonville Jaguars added depth to their wide receiver room on Tuesday by signing Velus Jones Jr. Jones began the season with the Chicago Bears but was released prior to Week 8. He had appeared in one game this season. With wide receiver Christian Kirk (collarbone) done for the season and Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) […]

Packers Sign Jamin Davis

The Green Bay Packers signed linebacker Jamin Davis on Tuesday. Davis is a former first-round pick by the Washington Commanders in 2021. He had fallen out of favor with the new Commanders regime in 2024 and was released prior to Week 8. Davis has been a quality player at times. If he can reclaim the […]

Stefon Diggs Officially Placed On IR By Texans

Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) was officially placed on injured reserve on Tuesday. It was announced earlier in the day that Diggs had torn his ACL in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. Moving Diggs to IR gives the Texans the roster space to potentially add another wide receiver for depth. The Texans […]

Panthers Not Trading Other Stars Such As Chuba Hubbard, Jaycee Horn

The Carolina Panthers dealt star wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday. With the Panthers essentially playing for nothing at this point, many wondered if they would trade any other veterans. Running back Chuba Hubbard and cornerback Jaycee Horn have topped the list of potential trade targets for a while. However, it […]

10 Worst QB Performances from NFL Week 8: Jordan Love Hurt, Anthony Richardson Regressing

This is a little bit unfair to Lawrence because he actually played pretty well. However, with how well most of the league’s quarterbacks played in Week 8, somebody had to end up on this list...

10 Worst QB Performances From Week 8, Including Mason Rudolph and Caleb Williams

Quarterback play across the board was actually pretty good in Week 8. There were numerous 300-yard passers around the league which made for exciting and high-scoring games. With the amount of solid performances this week, this column will have to be a bit nit-picky. Still, there were a fair number of low-end quarterback performances headlined […]

Noah Fant Part Of Seattle’s Offensive Implosion In Week 8

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant had a forgettable fantasy outing in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. After back-to-back games with at least 63 receiving yards, Fant only caught three passes for 22 yards. The Seahawks offense severely struggled in the absence of DK Metcalf (knee). Still, the output should not have been as […]

Tyler Lockett Limited To One Catch In Week 8

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett only caught one pass on three targets for nine yards in Seattle's Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Seahawks had trouble getting anything going on offense and Lockett was the odd man out. He was in position for a massive workload with top wide receiver DK Metcalf […]

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Leads Seahawks In Receiving

With Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) out of the lineup, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba stepped into the No. 1 wide receiver role. In a low-volume passing day from the Seahawks offense, Smith-Njigba led the team in targets with seven. He caught six passes for 69 yards. Considering that the Seahawks offense was anemic […]

Kenneth Walker III Puzzles With Only Nine Carries

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III was in a great position to succeed in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. Not only are the Bills soft against the run, but the Seahawks were projected to rely more heavily on Walker with DK Metcalf (knee) out. Walker only received nine carries and turned those carries […]

Geno Smith Stalls Without DK Metcalf

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had a rough day at the office in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. With top wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) out of the lineup, Smith and the Seahawks offense as a whole struggled to get anything going. Smith continued to be accurate (72% completion percentage), but he failed to […]

C.J. Stroud - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Fantasy Football Matchups We Love - Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Week 8 Include C.J. Stroud, Jayden Daniels, Javonte Williams, Cooper Kupp, more

Week 7 saw fantasy managers experience a series of goose eggs in their lineups due to injuries and poor performances. Deebo Samuel Sr., Tank Dell, and JuJu Smith-Schuster all left fantasy managers grasping at straws. Week 8 is a new week and will hopefully bring fantasy glory back to those who were burned by several […]

Jake Bobo In Line To See Targets In Week 8 But Should Remain On Waivers

With Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) trending towards missing this week's game against the Buffalo Bills, it appears as though wide receiver Jake Bobo will fill the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Bobo is a quality NFL player, but he does not project to receive the same […]

Noah Fant Gets An Upgrade With Dk Metcalf Unlikely To Play

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant has come alive in recent weeks. Fant has ten receptions in his last two games combined and he has at least 63 receiving yards in both games. He has a chance to deliver numbers like that once again in Week 8 when the Seahawks host the Buffalo Bills. The […]

Geno Smith Has A Slight Downgrade In Week 8 With DK Metcalf Doubtful

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has been a solid quarterback streaming option in 2024. He should deliver solid value again in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, but you should temper expectations with DK Metcalf (knee) unlikely to play in this game. The Bills are also an absolute run-funnel. Teams have been able to run […]

Tyler Lockett A High-End Flex With Serious Upside In Week 8

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is in a great position to succeed in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. With top wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) doubtful in this game, Lockett projects to see serious volume alongside fellow wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Lockett has been a steady contributor in 2024. He has been able […]

Jaxon Smith-Njigba In A Great Position In Week 8 With DK Metcalf Doubtful

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba could be the Seahawks' No. 1 wide receiver in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. With top wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) doubtful for this game, fantasy managers may get a good look at what Smith-Njigba can really do. Smith-Njigba has been frustrating for fantasy managers waiting for a […]

Kenneth Walker III Could Be The RB1 In Week 8

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (illness) is in a great position to deliver a smash performance in fantasy in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills boast the second-worst defense against opposing running backs in fantasy. Teams have been able to run all over them. Insert the hyper-efficient and explosive Walker, and […]

Seahawks D/ST Is Not In Play In Week 8

The Seattle Seahawks D/ST should be left on your bench in Week 8. While this unit checks in as the D/ST8 in fantasy, the Buffalo Bills are too scary of a matchup to justify rolling the dice. The Seahawks D/ST had a nice outing against a quality offense in the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. […]

Jason Myers Keeps Chugging Along In 2024

Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers continues to be a quality kicker in fantasy in 2024. Myers got back into the double-digit scoring ranks when he sank two field goals and four extra points against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. The Seahawks are trending towards another game that will require high-scoring output in Week 8 […]

It is Jameis Winston time in Cleveland. With Deshaun Watson out for the season and Dorian Thompson-Robinson nursing an injured finger, multiple outlets are reporting that the Browns plan to start ...

Zay Flowers Picks Up A DNP On Wednesday

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Flowers picked up the injury in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Given his quick and "twitchy" style of play, an ankle injury could seriously dampen Flowers' outlook this week if he is able to suit up. Flowers has been boom or […]

Tyler Huntley Does Not Practice Wednesday

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tyler Huntley (right shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. Huntley left the Dolphins' Week 7 game against the Indianapolis Colts with the injury. Huntley has filled in for the injured Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) over the Dolphins' last three games. He has thrown for 377 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Dolphins […]

Jaylen Waddle Limited On Wednesday

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (quad) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Waddle is no stranger to the injury report but it would be best to keep an eye on the situation as we head into the weekend. With the Dolphins hoping to start quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) in Week 8 against the Arizona […]

Jauan Jennings Picks Up A DNP On Wednesday

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. Jennings missed the 49ers' Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs already. The 49ers are hopeful that they can get him back in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers are thin at wide receiver. Brandon Aiyuk (knee) is done […]

Deebo Samuel Sr. Back With Team Wednesday, Doesn't Practice

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (wrist/illness) did not practice on Wednesday. Samuel has been battling a wrist injury for a couple of weeks and he was limited to four snaps in Week 7 for what was described as a "pneumonia-like" illness. Samuel was even hospitalized with fluid in his lungs and was […]

George Kittle A DNP On Wednesday

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (foot) did not practice on Wednesday. Kittle has a sprained foot and is considered day-to-day. Veterans with various ailments are often permitted a day off on Wednesdays so Kittle's practice participation will need to be monitored as the weekend approaches. With the 49ers nursing several injuries, they will […]

2024 NFL QB Power Rankings: All 32 Starting Quarterbacks for Week 8

There were studs and there were duds in Week 7. Quarterbacks we love such as C.J. Stroud and Brock Purdy fell flat on their faces. However, others such as Jared Goff showed out once again. Our beloved rookie class had a quiet week as Jayden Daniels went down with an injury and Caleb Williams was […]
