Is Jonathon Brooks Playing In Week 12?

UPDATE: Brooks is officially ACTIVE

Rookie running back Jonathon Brooks has yet to play this season as he recovers from a torn ACL he suffered with the Texas Longhorns last November, but it sounds like Brooks will make his NFL debut against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Panthers coach Dave Canales says running back Jonathon Brooks is good to go Sunday for his NFL debut.

Brooks was able to practice in full multiple times this week. Don't expect him to take over Chuba Hubbard's role as the starter immediately, and don't expect a big debut against a strong Chiefs run defense, but Brooks is in line to make his NFL debut in Week 12.

Is Adam Thielen Playing In Week 12?

UPDATE: Thielen is officially ACTIVE

Wide receiver Adam Thielen has been out since Week 3 when he suffered a hamstring injury against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was placed on Injured Reserve, and the veteran receiver has been slow to return, but all signs point to Thielen suiting up on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers are a different team than they were before Thielen's injury, notably because the team traded its No. 1 receiver, Diontae Johnson. Thielen, who served as the No. 1 wide receiver in 2023 for the Panthers, should be in for an expanded role if he's back close to 100% health.

Is Jalen Coker Playing In Week 12?

UPDATE: Coker is officially OUT

Wide receiver Jalen Coker appeared on the injury report on Friday as he missed practice due to a quad injury. He is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It's unclear if Coker will play or not, but the fact that the injury popped up so late in the week isn't a good sign. Fantasy managers should have alternative plans if they are counting on using Coker in their lineups this week.
