ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is the ultimate boom-or-bust quarterback in fantasy football. The second-year star had 26.1 fantasy points in Week 1 despite having only nine pass completions and six rushing attempts, as he made several impressive downfield throws.
Unfortunately, Richardson has severely regressed over the past two weeks, totaling one passing touchdown and 14.9 fantasy points. Last week, the former Florida star had two interceptions, including an awful one in the end zone.

While the RotoBaller rankings have Richardson as a top-12 quarterback this week, I want nothing to do with him. He faces a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has held quarterbacks to only 8.2 fantasy points per game, the fewest in the NFL. They haven’t given up more than 10 fantasy points to quarterbacks in a game this year.
Fantasy players should avoid starting Richardson, if possible, in Week 4. Daniel Jones and Geno Smith are two appealing streaming options I would add off the waiver wire and start over Richardson this week.
