ANALYSIS: If you're one of many frustrated Fantasy Football Managers, you've had to deal with the absence of Chris Carson from the Seattle lineup over the past few weeks. Thankfully, as Carson's prognosis looks increasingly grim for Thursday's contest against the Cardinals, Alex Collins raised some eyebrows among those in need of running back help with his performance this past Sunday against the Rams.
In 11 carries, Collins ran for 43 yards and a touchdown, and also caught one of his two targets for four yards. The former Arkansas Razorback is shortly removed from his two-year stint in Baltimore where he accumulated 1,384 rushing yards, 13 touchdowns, 38 receptions out of 57 targets, 292 receiving yards, and a touchdown reception; and while Travis Homer and Carlos Hyde look likely to participate in Thursday Night Football, Collins' last showing paints an optimistic picture for his role in Chris Carson's absence.
