Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin has been placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols on Monday. Malkin will be forced to miss the next two games against the Bruins on Tuesday and Senators on Thursday, as the league requires a player to be sidelined for a minimum of five days when entering the COVID-19 protocols. Malkin has been a great addition to the Penguins lineup since making his return from offseason hip surgery, recording five goals and adding eight assists for a total of 13 points in 12 games. In his absence, the team recalled forwards Valterri Puustinen and Michael Chaput from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
