Phillip Dorsett Plays Key Role In Week 16

Houston Texans wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (foot) led the Texans in targets in their Week 16 win over the Chargers despite leaving the game with an injury. Dorsett managed three catches on six targets for 55 yards. Brandin Cooks missed this game due to COVID-19, which opened the door for ancillary wide receivers like Dorsett to see more time. Furthermore, rookie quarterback Davis Mills has shown a propensity to throw the deep ball better than previous Texans quarterbacks. That said, Dorsett is, at best, third on the wide receiver depth chart, and that is a tough place to be in a low-upside offense. Dorsett isn't a viable fantasy asset, especially with Cooks likely to be back in Week 17.
