Washington Capitals center Lars Eller is moving up to the second line for Thursday's meeting with Florida. The veteran forward has been stuck in the bottom-six this season but now gets a bigger role against one of the best teams in the league. Anthony Mantha and Daniel Sprong will be his running mates. The trio will also feature on the second power-play unit. Eller has logged three points with 16 shots, eight hits and seven blocks this season in nine games. Washington's center position also gets some extra help on Thursday as Nic Dowd (lower body) has come off Injured Reserve.--Taavi Pailk
