Taysom Hill Expected To Be Cleared For Next Week
Taysom Hill (concussion) is expected to be cleared from the league's concussion protocol in time for the team's Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NBC Sports' Mike Florio. It's a significant development after Jameis Winston (knee) suffered a potential season-ending ACL tear in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Trevor Siemian took over for Winston and led the team to the win, but Hill could be the primary signal-caller moving forward if Winston is indeed done for the season. Hill has missed the last two games and only has 16 carries for 77 yards in five games this season, but he's also found the end zone three times and would be an option as a QB2 in superflex leagues if he gets the start against the Falcons next week.
