Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins finished Saturday's 2-1 win at Vancouver with a power-play assist, becoming the third player in franchise history to register 10-plus assists in seven or fewer games. Connor McDavid did it in 2019-20 and someone named Wayne Gretzky managed it six times in an Oilers uniform. The 10 assists make up all of Nugent-Hopkins' point tally this season, with six of the helpers coming on the power play. He hasn't found the net with 14 shots so far, but the 28-year-old is an 11.8 percent career shooter and the goals should start flowing any minute now. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
