Washington Capitals center Nicklas Backstrom has not yet resumed skating as he continues to rehab an injured hip. The 33-year-old, who was previously listed as week-to-week, has not participated in training camp and still does not have a timetable to return to the ice. Backstrom is coming off an excellent season in 2020-2021 in which he posted 53 points (15 goals, 38 assists), 22 power-play points and 91 shots in 55 games played. The 14-year NHL veteran has been slipping down fantasy draft boards due to his current injury (90.6 ADP in Yahoo) but could still provide great value at that position should he return to action in the near future. --Chase Davis - RotoBaller
