Detroit Red Wings forward Jakub Vrana will be sidelined for at least the next four months with a shoulder injury. The 25-year-old reportedly sustained the ailment on the first day of training camp and will soon undergo surgery. Vrana's injury news comes at a tough time for Detroit as the electric winger was arguably the team's best player after getting acquired from the Capitals at last season's trade deadline. The Czech native was a point-per-game (11 points in 11 games) with Detroit and posted the 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists), a plus-10 rating and 100 shots in 50 total games in 2020-2021. Expect forward Robby Fabbri to play an even bigger role at even-strength and on the man advantage with Vrana out.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
