Vancouver Canucks netminder Thatcher Demko had a 39-save effort Monday, beating Winnipeg by a score of 3-1. Despite the Canucks winning, they were still eliminated from playoff contention. Demko has been somewhat of a bright spot in a disappointing season for the Canucks overall. He's posted a 14-17-1 record with a 2.89 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. Vancouver has six meaningless games remaining. They are behind the rest of the league in games played due to COVID-19 protocols earlier in the spring. NHL representatives have mentioned possibly starting the playoffs as soon as Saturday. If the Canucks do end up playing the scheduled contests, Demko should start the majority of the six games remaining.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
