DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 4/22/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

The four Game 1's of the EuroLeague playoffs are over and there were some surprises. The most surprising was Munich blowing a 19-point lead to lose to Milan on a buzzer beater by Zach Leday. In this set we saw Real Madrid get rolled by Efes, but Vasa Micic also left that game early for the Turks. It is possible that he plays today, but I would guess that Efes will suit him up and only play him if they need him. If they get an early lead again, they have no reason to risk the health of Micic if they are up double-digits after less than a quarter again.

Walter Tavares was in serious pain during and after Game 1. He will likely try to push through it again, but we don't need to pay five figures for a guy that is obviously not at 100%. The only guy that we know is out is Munich guard Nick Weiler-Babb. However, Nihad Dedovic may be available for the first time since he played two minutes on February 5. He likely wont see much action, but it could help ease the loss of Weiler-Babb and he's super cheap.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/22/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Krunoslav Simon, Efes ($8,900)

Simon is my favorite Efes guard if Micic is out. Simon played 27 minutes in Game 1 and put up a solid 24 DraftKings points. He should be in line for more minutes in this one and he's more of a distributor than Shane Larkin is, giving him a higher floor. Larkin has a ceiling as high as anyone in the league, but this series isn't conducive to a ceiling game from any Efes player. There's a good chance that Efes sweeps a reeling Real Madrid team and isn't tested in doing so. Therefore, I'll be investing more in the "backup" guards in this one. They should see plenty of court time.

Rodrigue Beaubois, Efes ($8,200)

Beaubois has put up 59 DraftKings points in just 42 minutes over the last two Efes games. He is shooting better than anyone else on the team right now, which should afford him more playing time until he cools off. Simon and Larkin are assured minutes, but Beaubois should still play at least half the game if Micic is out and his ceiling might be higher than Simon's.

Zan Sisko, Munich ($6,400)

Sisko will immediately claim a larger role with Weiler-Babb sidelined. We could even see Wade Baldwin play off the ball a little more since Sisko has at least six assists in four straight games. Sisko doesn't score enough to give him a really high ceiling, but his passing ability makes him a solid value pick with a high floor. Considering the uncertainty of the EuroLeague, I'll take it.

Also consider: Shane Larkin, Efes ($10,300); Kevin Punter, Milan ($9,100); Dennis Seely, Munich ($5,800)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Zach Leday, Milan ($9,300)

The Milan front did a great job of shutting down both Jalen Reynolds and Vladimir Lucic. Both of them came in under 20 DraftKings points. With their prices as high as they are, I'll gladly use the guys that shut them down for a lower price. Leday is the one that capped that huge comeback on Tuesday. He finished with 30.75 DraftKings points and now has four straight games of more than 20 DraftKings points. That's more than either Reynolds or Lucic can offer.

Sertac Sanli, Efes ($7,700)

Sanli put up 32.5 DraftKings points and fell just two rebounds shy of a double-double in Game 1 despite playing just 20 minutes. Sanli is a high-energy guy off the bench, but the lack of big minutes prevents him from being a truly elite option. However, Real Madrid is likely going to be worse off than they were in Game 1. That should mean another blowout win for Efes and another game where the bench players play almost as much as the starters. That's a crazy thing to gamble on, but it makes more sense than using anyone from Real Madrid. They were all terrible in Game 1.

Vladimir Micov, Milan ($5,900)

This season was a big disappointment for Micov after the numbers he posted last year. However, he finished the season strong with 43.25 DraftKings points over the last two rounds. Micov contributed good minutes off the bench in Game 1 and was a factor when he was on the court. At his age and declining skill level, Micov doesn't have a ceiling game left in him, but his floor is outstanding for this price. That enables us to pay up for the pieces that can put out a ceiling game.

Also consider: Trey Thompkins, Real Madrid ($8,300); Paul Zipser, Munich ($6,600); Fabien Causeur, Real Madrid ($6,200); James Gist, Munich ($4,800)
