New Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes produced his second three-point outing of the season in Thursday's 6-3 win over Buffalo, scoring the team's third goal and handing out two assists. His line was on fire as both Janne Kuokkanen and Yegor Sharangovich also finished the game with one goal and two assists. This was New Jersey's first game since trading Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac, and the new era certainly got off to an exciting start. Pavel Zacha added a pair of power-play goals in the contest. Hughes reached the 20-point plateau with the outing. He's had a few miserable weeks but should be able to finish off the season on a high, now that there's less competition for top-six places. The top pick of the 2019 NHL Draft will take the ice two more times this week against Pittsburgh.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
