DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/21/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 3/21/21. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

After 32 games in the last 36 hours, the eight game slate today is going to feel like a bit of a break. This is especially true when you consider that only two games start before 5pm Eastern. Teams are battling for a Sweet 16 spot now and it seems likely that one of the six double-digit seeds left will advance. Which one of these small school superstars can carry our DFS lineups? That's what we'll try to figure out.

Vegas is expecting a few higher-scoring games today. It's no surprise that Oral Roberts and Florida has the highest total at 148. The Gators are now favored by 9, but I'll still have exposure to ORU. The battle of the OSU's and the old Big East matchup of West Virginia and Syracuse are both above 145. Arkansas and Texas Tech is the only other game in the 140's. The North Texas-Villanova game is the only one under 130 at 126. I will limit my exposure to that one.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/21/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Max Abmas, Oral Roberts ($9,200)

Abmas became a household name after lighting up Ohio State on Friday. His 29 points paced the 15-seed Oral Roberts in the upset of the Buckeyes. This team shoots well enough from beyond the arc to beat anyone. The inverse is also true. If they go cold, they're done. Still, Florida is not a great defensive team. Abmas and company are capable of keeping this going. At any rate, Abmas does a lot of everything. He has played every minute of every game, including overtime, in all four March games. Expect that trend to continue. The price hike is a steep one, but on paper the Buckeyes were much better defenders.

Miles McBride, West Virginia ($8,400)

McBride has carried the Mountaineers over the last two games, putting up 94 DraftKings points. This game with Syracuse is projected to be close and high scoring. The Orange haven't defended the perimeter well at all this season. The Mountaineers aren't just a stifling defense anymore. They can score. McBride will be the one trying to keep up with Buddy Boeheim on the other side.

Avery Anderson, Oklahoma State ($6,800)

Anderson is the guy that stepped up big in the first round win over Liberty with Cade Cunningham struggling from the field. Cunningham maybe be having some jitters on the big stage. If those continue, Anderson looks to be capable of carrying the team. Two of the hottest teams in the tournament face off in this one. Both teams won their respective conference tournaments. Both are playing above expectations right now. Anderson may not be the biggest name or the most talented player in this game, but he might be the most consistent. In a tournament that has seen some stars struggle, including Anderson's own teammate, I like playing at least one guy like Anderson.

Jarod Lucas, Oregon State ($5,900)

The price on Lucas should be much higher. He has at least 24 DraftKings points in the Beavers' improbable run through the Pac 12 tournament and their opening round win over Tennessee on Friday. The caveat is that Lucas hasn't broken the 30 threshold. That could be coming against Oklahoma State. They don't defend the perimeter well. The ceiling on Lucas isn't very high, but come on people. He's under 6k. Take it and be happy.

Bonus pick: Tramon Mark, Houston ($4,700)

Keep an eye on the status of DeJon Jarreau. He did practice yesterday, but no update was given after practice. Mark picked up a lot of the slack when Jarreau went down on Friday. Value is hard to come by at guard today. Mack may be worth a look since Jarreau will likely be limited no matter what. It just depends on how big of a risk you're willing to take.

Also consider: Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma State ($9,800); Buddy Boeheim, Syracuse ($7,900); Javion Hamlet, North Texas ($7,700); Brad Davison, Wisconsin ($6,300); Carlos Jurgens, Oral Roberts ($5,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Villanova ($8,800)

Robinson-Earl carried the Wildcats with Collin Gillespie out in the first round. That should be how this pans out going forward. The Wildcats have yet to have a guard step up enough with Gillespie out. JRE led the team in scoring in the loss to Georgetown in the Big East tournament as well. North Texas is going to have a lot of problems with Robinson-Earl in this game. He'll be where I start more than one of my lineups.

Derek Culver, West Virginia ($7,900)

Culver's best games this year came against teams that don't defend the interior well. Syracuse is one of those teams. The Orange do have some size though, so it may not come as easily as it did against say, Oklahoma. However, Culver has at least 27 DraftKings points in four straight. I don't think he'll have an issue reaching that threshold tonight. Now if we can just get him over 30....

Isaac Likekele, Oklahoma State ($6,000)

Likekele is too cheap if he's going to stick in the starting lineup. He's not much of a scorer, but Likekele is so active on the court that he has a high floor. He's a good passer, good rebounder, and he has six steals over the last three games. Likekele returned to the starting lineup in the win over Liberty on Friday. 40 minutes at this price could net him close to 5x value.

Roman Silva, Oregon State ($4,400)

Silva's size was a big problem for Tennessee and could be for the Cowboys as well. Kalib Boone is the tallest Cowboy that sees minutes and he's still a full four inches shorter than Silva. Silva wasn't much of a factor in the regular season, but we all know that the Beavers had some missteps along the way. They are hitting their stride at the right time and it doesn't feel like a coincidence that Silva has been more involved.

Also consider: Kofi Cockburn, Illinois ($8,200); Kevin Obanor, Oral Roberts ($8,100); Macio Teague, Baylor ($7,000); Lucas Williamson, Loyola-Chicago ($5,400)
