Titans Re-Sign Tight End Geoff Swaim

The Tennessee Titans re-signed tight end Geoff Swaim to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with $2.25 million guaranteed. The team is also expected to add free-agent cornerback Janoris Jenkins, according to his agent, Neil Schwartz. Swaim, 27, signed as a backup tight end last August, but he wound up playing significant snaps for the Titans. He caught just nine passes for 83 yards and one touchdown, but Swaim was an effective run-blocker during a season in which running back Derrick Henry broke the 2,000-yard mark. Tennessee has an opening at the position with Jonnu Smith leaving for New England, but the Titans could bring one of MyCole Pruitt or Anthony Firkser back or add to the position through the draft. Swaim isn't very attractive to fantasy managers in this run-first offense.
