Pittsburgh Steelers vice president and general manager Kevin Colbert signed a one-year contract extension on Monday. The 64-year-old is entering his 22nd season with the club after joining the Steelers in February of 2000 as the director of football operations, a role he held for the first 11 years with the team. Colbert helped build Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII championship teams and has helped Pittsburgh reach the AFC Championship three times. The Steelers have won 10 division titles, earned 13 playoff berths and have had 16 winning seasons under Colbert's leadership in the front office.
