Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad posted a career-high four points with two goals and two assists in Thursday's 5-4 win over Nashville, matching the club's franchise record for most points by a d-man in a regular-season game. Ekblad had been slumping with only two points in 10 games prior to Thursday's action, but his career night was well worth the wait. Despite this being a shortened season, Ekblad already has more goals (8) than he did last season (5), and he has upped his production to 0.68 points per game. The talented rearguard faces the Predators again on Saturday and will then finish off the week versus Carolina.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
