New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin will guard the cage in Thursday's battle against New Jersey. The Russian netminder is looking to post his second consecutive win, after stopping 22 of 24 shots in a 3-2 victory over Buffalo on Tuesday. Shesterkin improved his record to 5-7-1 at the start of the week and now has a 2.40 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. The Devils are slumping right now with six defeats in seven games, so it looks like a great time to meet them, but New York's scoring has been inconsistent throughout the campaign and Shesterkin might not get enough goal support. It's also a matchup that New Jersey has dominated, picking up five wins from the last seven meetings. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
