Richard Petty Motorsports driver Erik Jones is one of the better bargain drivers to consider for Homestead. Although Jones only has one podium finish in four starts at the Miami track, he placed in the Top 10 in four of his last six Cup events at 1.5 Mile Intermediate tracks. Since 2018 at HMS out of active drivers, Jones ranks eighth in Laps in the Top 15 (544) and second in Quality Passes (158), which are passes of cars in the Top 15 under green flag conditions. Last year with Bubba Wallace at Homestead, Jones' current team, Richard Petty Motorsports finished 13th.
