San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson exited Saturday's 3-1 loss to Vegas with a lower-body injury. The two-time Norris Trophy winner didn't feature in the final 11 minutes of play. Radim Simek also got injured in the contest, so the Sharks ended up finishing with four blueliners. Luckily for San Jose and fantasy managers, Karlsson's issue isn't deemed to be serious. "He's on the trainer's table right now getting worked on, so I don't think it's anything crazy serious," said Sharks head coach Bob Boughner postgame. Karlsson's season hasn't been pretty so far, as he carries a minus-five rating and has only four points through 13 games, but he is one of the best d-men in the league and should be able to turn it around. The Sharks continue their season on Monday against Anaheim, which gives Karlsson some time off to nurse his body.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
