Korean shortstop Ha-seong Kim has picked a team and is negotiating whether the contract will be fully guaranteed at the major league level, according to Korean media reports. The Kiwoom Heroes star had received multiple offers in the five-plus-year range earlier in the week, but it appears that he is closing in on a deal with a certain unknown team. The deadline to sign Kim to a deal is Jan. 1. The 25-year-old shortstop hit .306 with 30 home runs, 23 stolen bases, 109 RBI and a .921 OPS in 138 games in 2020. He's a career .294 hitter with 133 long balls, 134 steals and an .866 OPS in 891 games over seven seasons in the Korean league. The Rangers, Giants and Blue Jays are believed to be Kim's strongest suitors.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
