St. Louis Cardinals reliever Ryan Helsley has tested positive for COVID-19 as announced by the team on Friday. Fellow reliever Austin Dean also tested positive, pushing the Red Birds to nine positives this week and forcing the league to postpone their weekend series versus the Cubs. Helsley was a candidate for saves entering the season, and he got off to a strong start firing 2 2/3 scoreless innings without allowing a base runner. He'll have to produce back-to-back negative tests to be cleared to rejoin the team, but he will likely return as a high-leverage arm once he's healthy enough to pitch.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
