Chris Herndon IV Active Against Dolphins
Chris Herndon IV (hamstring) is active for Week 9 against the Dolphins for the first time this season, but based on what head coach Adam Gase said this week, Herndon isn't expected to play a lot, if at all. The matchup is about as good as it gets, but fantasy owners should be very hesitant to lean on Herndon in his season debut if the Jets plan on limiting his snaps. Ryan Griffin could remain the primary pass-catching tight end. He busted out for two touchdowns in Week 8, but Griffin remains a desperation low-end TE2 option, especially now that Herndon is back in the fold. Avoid this situation for now if you can.
