Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitchell Marner took control of the game in a 4-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets, scoring two goals and adding an assist to increase his total to four points on the season. After seeing the Auston Matthews line dominate in game one of the season, the Marner line took its turn to lead the Leafs to victory in this game. Morgan Reilly added three assists while John Tavares tallied two helpers as well. Auston Matthews and Cody Ceci were the other goal scorers for the Leafs. --Nate Duffett
