San Jose Sharks left wing Evander Kane will miss the first three games of the season after pushing an official in the team's final preseason game. Kane and the team will have the opportunity to appeal before Wednesday night's season opener against the Vegas Golden Knights, but as of now it looks like he will accept the punishment. Marcus Sorenson would be the next player up for the Sharks on the depth chart, which would be a huge downgrade, as he only managed 30 points in 80 games last season.--Nate Duffett
