Penske Racing driver Ryan Blaney captured Stage 1 in the TicketGuardian 500 at ISM Raceway on Sunday. He ended up leading 94 laps in the race, but was passed by Kyle Busch on Lap 296 with 17 to go. Eventually, Busch's teammate Martin Truex Jr. nudged by Blaney, too, sending the No. 12 Ford to a third-place finish. Still, it was a positive result for Blaney, who carried the flag for the manufacturer and his team, especially since he has qualified well at ISM in the past, but trickled down the board once the green flag dropped. Next up is a trip to Auto Club Speedway in California where Blaney has three Cup starts with two top-10s and a 17.3 Average-Finish Position.--Daniel DobishRead More News
