Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen returned from Injured Reserve on Monday night to face the Colorado Avalanche. He allowed four goals on 36 shots in the return, showing a little bit of rust in the middle period when he coughed up three goals. Andersen, who was making his way back from a groin injury, as well as a recent illness, just seemed to run out of steam. His stamina should be a little better as he gets his sea legs again and is back into the routine. He'll have a couple of days to recuperate before the team resumes play on Thursday against the high-flying Tampa Bay Lightning, kicking off their two-day Sunshine State swing. He'll start one of the two outings, with Michael Hutchinson likely drawing the start, perhaps against his former team, the Florida Panthers, on Friday.--Daniel Dobish
