Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne stopped 21 of 22 shots on his way to a 2-1 victory over Buffalo on Monday. Rinne didn't have much to do for most of the game, but he was extremely busy near the end of regulation, making five saves in the final 1:17 when the team tried to hang on to a one-goal lead. Rinne improved his record for the season to 12-4-1. He has two shutouts and carries a 1.81 goals-against average with a .935 save percentage. The Preds have a very favorable schedule coming up, so Rinne could be flirting with the 20-win mark already before the year is done.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
