Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk picked up a goal and an assist in Wednesday night's game against the Winnipeg Jets. Both of Tkachuk's points came in an explosive first period where the Flames scored five goals. Tkachuk now has 27 points in 22 games, including eight points in his last four games, and seems poised to break his career-high mark of 49 points set last year. The only concerns for Tkachuk's production are that his shot rate of 2.32 shots per game has seen a dip compared to last year's 2.76 rate, and his shooting percentage is currently at an unsustainable 23.5 percent. When his shooting percentage comes back down if his shot rates do not improve he will see a significant drop in goal production.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
