Jimmy Graham Misses Practice With Injury
Jimmy Graham (knee) missed practice on Tuesday with what appears to be a minor knee injury. He banged his knee in a collision with safety Josh Jones on Monday. He finished out the practice on Monday but did not participate the following day. There aren’t too many details at this point and his absence seems to be precautionary. Graham was one of Green Bay’s highest profile acquisition in years. The veteran tight end had spent the last several years with the Seattle Seahawks where he was a dominant redzone threat. Green Bay has rarely had tight ends put up big numbers under current head coach Mike McCarthy. There is some optimism that a tight end with the caliber of Graham could change that. However, Graham appears to be safely past his prime and that outcome seems unlikely at this point.
