Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Nick Kingham allowed three runs on eight hits in 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. The rookie got through the first four innings unscathed before Ben Zobrist blasted a two-run home run in the fifth. After allowing a two-out double and RBI single to opposing pitcher Jon Lester in the sixth, Kingham was pulled with a 4-3 lead that the Pirates' bullpen couldn't hold onto. Kingham ended the night with four strikeouts and two walks, the latter of which doubles his season total. He'll get the St. Louis Cardinals in his next start, the team he had his perfect-game bid against in his major-league debut on April 29.--Matt Wilkes
