The St. Louis Cardinals called up catcher Steve Baron from Triple-A. With Yadier Molina already on the disabled list and Carson Kelly being added to that list on Thursday, the Cardinals needed another catcher on their big league roster. Baron is known as a strong defensive catcher, but he might as well head into each plate appearance without a bat. He's put up a .153/.167/.186 line in 17 games at Triple-A Memphis.
