Oakland Athletics outfield prospect Dustin Fowler has been promoted from Triple-A Nashville, according to Jane Lee of MLB.com. He brings with him some pop and speed to go along with a good average (.310). At Nashville, Fowler had three homers, seven doubles, three triples and eight stolen bases. He unfortunately is not a big on-base guy with a walk rate of 3.8 percent. However, Fowler does keep his strikeouts under control (16.7 percent). He will likely make his big league debut starting against the Yankees. Fowler is worth a pickup in mixed leagues for his upside.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
