Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte went 2-for-6 against the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, including a walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th inning. The 29-year-old has done a nice job putting a tumultuous 2017 behind him and now boasts a strong .284/.371/.461 batting line with three homers, 11 RBI, 19 runs scored and eight steals. His improved plate discipline should continue to make him a huge run-scoring and base-stealing threat. Marte's 12.1 percent walk rate far outpaces his career mark of 5.2 percent.--Matt Wilkes
