Only three games on the slate means we have to be precise. You should spend up for the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, John Wall, and Stephen Curry. They have great match-ups and I really should not have to explain to why you need to pick them. This is the NBA Playoffs which means every player has the chance to cement themselves in history. Just remember that when making picks. Sometimes rostering a player in hopes for the rare explosion is what turns your somber, grey night into a happy night, filled with green.
In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/24/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.
Let's get rolling.
FanDuel DFS Guards
Cory Joseph - PG, vs MIL ($2,700)
There are very few point guards with a track record like Cory Joseph. He has been a notable backup behind Kyle Lowry and gets minutes in the Raptors rotation. Just like every other player, he is not a strong scorer, but when he hits his shots the rest of his game sees improvement. Cory Joseph has not played well this series, that has been obvious. Joseph also managed to score 11 points in 18 minutes, Game 2. Joseph can score, and hoping the Raptors do not get blown out, he should start to produce against Milwaukee.
Also Consider: Malcolm Brogdon - PG, @ TOR ($5,400)
Patrick McCaw - SG, vs POR ($3,700)
This was between Patrick McCaw or Ian Clark. Although Clark has the lower price, McCaw is producing at a higher level. Granted, McCaw is starting for an injured Kevin Durant and Clark is coming off the bench behind the best backcourt in the league. For the extra $600, you should spend up to play McCaw. His athleticism and ability to hit open threes is what makes him so valuable against Portland.
Also Consider: Klay Thompson - SG, @ POR ($7,500)
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Evan Turner - SF, vs GSW ($4,900)
The Trail Blazers are in must-win mode and this means everyone needs to be playing well, especially Evan Turner. As one of the main sources of consistent offense, Turner is going to make the most out of his potential, 40+ minutes. He has been contributing across the board like an option that should be well above his sub-5K price. The Warriors defense when it comes to guarding smaller forwards like Turner is sketchy and can be exploited by the right matchup.
Also Consider: - SF, vs LAC ($5,400)
David West - PF, @ POR ($3,100)
I was really hoping that his price would not be this high, but this will still save you some cash to spend up for the superstars. A sub-3K price is ideal, so if there is someone that has caught your eye, go for it. In this case, my choice would be David West. Simply due to the fact that he has the ball in his hands when the Warriors are on offense. His production has been minimal recently, but that can change in an instant if one or two shots fall for West. With a nice break on the line for Golden State, expect a solid performance from the bench, West included, to help push them over the edge.
Also Consider: Serge Ibaka - PF, @ MIL ($6,300)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Greg Monroe - C, @ TOR ($6,800)
Greg Monroe has been able to play to his strengths this series, nearly canceling out the new Toronto acquisition, Serge Ibaka. Without Ibaka as a major factor, the Raptors have struggled. Seeing how this is the case, Greg Monroe will continue to put the pressure on the Raptors frontcourt. As long as Kidd continues to give Monroe minutes, he is going to be productive.
