NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Basketball Advice for 4/3/16

The Warriors finally lost at home! The Boston Celtics are now officially the best team in the league. Just kidding.

Speaking of the Warriors, they face off against the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. This is going to be a very interesting matchup. Read on to see a few of the recommendations from this game.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/3/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry (vs POR, $10,200)

Stephen Curry gets a slight edge over James Harden tonight because his price tag is slightly lower. Curry has the same amount of upside that Harden does, but he doesn't tend to score as many fantasy points on a consistent basis. This should be rather obvious, as Curry has other offensive weapons to take away from his production level, while Harden is the only threat the Rockets really have. Regardless, in tournaments, it makes more sense to use Curry because he could score over 70 fantasy points, especially in a great matchup against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.

Damian Lillard (at GSW, $8,000)

Speaking of Damian Lillard, he makes for a fantastic tournament option tonight against the Golden State Warriors. In his last few games, he has not been producing at the level that he should be. He has under 30 fantasy points in two straight games, but an uptempo game against one of the best teams in the league should light a fire under his feet. Lillard has ridiculous upside, and if Aminu stops producing at such an outstanding rate, Lillard is going to have to take over the offense. Avoid him completely in 50/50 contests.

Shane Larkin (vs NOR, $4,100)

Shane Larkin has been playing extremely well of recent, especially when considering his price tag. Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing guards. Larkin posted over 30 fantasy points two games ago against the Brooklyn Nets in around 32 minutes. He should continue to play 30 plus minutes tonight, so he is likely to at least hit value. Larkin is safe to play in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant (at HOU, $10,600)

Kevin Durant is the best forward option on the board tonight. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Houston Rockets, who are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing small forwards. Durant has over 40 fantasy points in four straight games now, one of which was over 55 fantasy points in 37 minutes against the Toronto Raptors. He tends to play well in games against opposing star players. He is going to look to outshine James Harden tonight, which is going to be hard to do. Use Durant is all formats.

Julius Randle (vs BOS, $6,500)

Julius Randle look absolutely horrible two games ago against the Utah Jazz. He posted under five fantasy points in 24 minutes on the court. There is really no excuse for that, but his upside is so great that he made his way to this list anyway. Tonight, he plays the Boston Celtics, who are not great against opposing big men, and Randle has over 35 fantasy points in four of his last six games. Against the Denver Nuggets, he posted just shy of 50 fantasy points in 33 minutes, so his upside is definitely there. Do not play Randle in 50/50 contests, as he is notoriously risky.

Dante Cunningham (at BKN, $3,800)

This play really has nothing to do with Dante Cunningham's production level while on the court and everything to do with his time on the court. He is playing a ridiculous amount of minutes right now for the New Orleans Pelicans, which is absolutely fantastic for his upside. A player has to be on the court to score! Well, Cunningham has over 35 minutes in six straight games now. He only posted over 20 fantasy points in one of those six games, but the potential is there, and that is really all one can ask for from a low-priced tournament option. Do not use him in 50/50 contests due to his inconsistent nature.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Brook Lopez (vs NOR, $7,500)

Brook Lopez has been dealing with some injury issues of recent, so his production has not been as high as it can be. Tonight, he gets an insanely easy matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans are playing without a large majority of their opening day squad, so Lopez should take them to town. He posted over 30 fantasy points in only 30 minutes in his last game, but his upside is much higher. A few games ago, he posted over 45 fantasy points in 39 minutes against the Charlotte Hornets. That is the Lopez that we all know and love.
