DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (3/21/16): NBA DFS Advice

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Demetri Raftopoulos highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 3/21/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

There are a couple intriguing stack plays for Monday's action. The games I'm most drawn to for stacking are the Chicago Bulls hosting the Sacramento Kings, the Washington Wizards visiting the Atlanta Hawks, and the Indiana Pacers squaring off with the Philadelphia 76ers.

On a night with nine games, it might be wise to focus on a couple specific games and overload on players from each, specifically because of the high-scoring likeliness attached.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/2/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Derrick Rose (vs SAC, $5,800)

Rose is at the price where he can do just enough to affect a Daily Fantasy lineup, and is capable of still breaking out. And breaking out is always more likely against the defensively inefficient Sacramento Kings. The Kings have relinquished 109.6 points per game, the most out of any team in the NBA. They have also allowed the second most assists in the league, at 24.2 a game.

Rose's performances have not stifled anyone, but he is a consistent double-digit threat and has displayed the ability to tally enough assists and rebounds to round out his stat lines. Once one of the best up-and-coming stars in the league, Rose has plenty of talent still left in the tank.

George Hill (vs PHI, $4,800)

Hill finally broke out in his last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, dropping 2o points, nine assists, three rebounds, and two steals, resulting in 42.25 fantasy points. He, like Rose, is another guy that doesn't need to do too much in order to reach value. But heading into a solid matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, Hill will look to build some momentum from his last performance.

The Sixers have allowed the third most points a night and the fifth most assists a night in the league. Hill should have no difficulty producing against a team with only nine wins on the season.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Tim Hardaway Jr. (vs WAS, $3,800)

Hardaway is coming off two back-to-back solid performances and appears to have inserted himself into Atlanta's offensive attack. He has been producing better than Kyle Korver of late and is slightly cheaper. Hardaway has put up 20 and 21 points in his last two games, including an impressive 7-11 from behind the arc in that span.

This has undoubtedly been the most impressive "stretch" of Hardaway's season and there should be no reason to avoid him as a punt play, despite his unproven status for the majority of the 2015-2016 campaign. The Wizards also give up a ton of points per game and own the third highest opponent three-point percentage in the league.

Andrew Wiggins (vs GS, $6,400)

Zack Lavine is also a solid option at the two-spot since the Golden State Warriors struggle defending shooting guards more than any other position. But Wiggins is the safer bet here considering he is a tad bit more established. He's been extremely consistent over the last seven games and has scored 20 or more points in six of seven games.

The Timberwolves will likely be playing from behind in this one so we can expect Wiggins to pull the trigger often from all over the court.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Otto Porter (at ATL, $4,900)

Porter has strung together a nice bit of consistency in his last six games, recording 25 or more fantasy points in each. He's a very affordable option and has scored in double-digits in five straight games. He has also averaged five to six rebounds in his last four and frees up plenty of cap space for the bigger names on this list. Porter has seen the floor steadily for around and over 30 minutes and will be in a close contest with the Atlanta Hawks.

Paul George (vs PHI, $8,600)

George is another part of a solid stack between the Indiana Pacers and the Sixers, and is coming off a monstrous 45-points scoring performance. George is a consistent threat from downtown and is more than capable of spreading stats generously. He has also picked up at least one steal in nine of 10 games and more than one in seven of 10.

George is another player that doesn't need much explanation but since storming into the 2015-2016 season with huge performance after huge performance, he has settled in and is almost a sure-thing double-digit scorer.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Nerlens Noel (at IND, $6,900)

Noel is the final piece of this stack and has put together an impressive streak over his last six games. He has scored in double-digits in each and posted two double-doubles in that span as well. Also, in a game recently against the Washington Wizards, Noel tallied an impressive seven steals, and has really begun to establish himself as the focal point of the 76ers struggling offense.

With Jahlil Okafor out for the year, the 76ers will continue to rely on Noel for production, and so should Daily Fantasy users.

DeMarcus Cousins (at CHI, $10,400)

Cousins is the top big name set to take the floor on Monday, and faces a Chicago Bulls team likely without Pau Gasol for another game. The Bulls haven't been too solid defensively in general, shaping this game up to be high scoring and fast paced, considering we all know how little defense the Kings play.

Cousins is a consistent break-out threat for Daily Fantasy and is almost always automatic for at least 50 fantasy points a night. Cousins has put up eight double-doubles in his last 10 and is even more affective when he stays out of foul trouble.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Marcin Gortat (at ATL, 6,600)

Gortat is the final piece to the Washington/Atlanta stack and is still very affordable. Gortat is coming off two straight double-doubles and two straight 30+ fantasy point performances. Atlanta hasn't been too good at defending the center position all season and Gortat will look to make it three straight. He is a safe option on a night where a ton of centers are listed as questionable or are out.
