DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 3/11/16

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 3/11/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

The Grizzlies have to be one of the unluckiest teams in the NBA. First Marc Gasol gets injured, and now they lose Mario Chalmers for the season. If that isn't enough, Mike Conley is also currently injured, and Briante Weber is the only point guard on the roster.

Okay, back to business. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/11/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

Without wasting anymore time, here are the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Damian Lillard (at GS, $9,800)

Lillard has been playing at an elite level recently, as he’s averaging 33.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game over the last 10 days. He has also dominated the Warriors this season, while averaging 45.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 1.0 block, and 4.0 steals in 34.3 minutes per game. He has the ability to be an elite scorer, and the Blazers are going to lean on him in a high scoring game tonight. Lillard has scored 60+ fantasy points in two of his last three games, and he can be used in all leagues.

Patrick Beverley (at BOS, $5,200)

Beverley is a player that slides under the radar because he’s the fourth offensive option behind Harden, Ariza, and Howard. He has been playing extremely well recently, though, as he’s averaging 12.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game over the last 10 days. He gets a tough matchup against the Celtics tonight, who have defended the point guard extremely well this season, but PatBev is playing heavy minutes, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Darren Collison (vs ORL, $4,800)

The entire Kings offense is going to benefit from the DeMarcus Cousins suspension, and Collison is one of the cheaper options. He has scored 30+ fantasy points in two of his last three games, and he has been playing with the ball in his hands quite a bit. He’s a cheap player who is going to play 35+ minutes tonight, and he gets a great matchup against the Magic. The Magic have struggled against everyone this season, but Collison is best suited for GPPs tonight.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant (vs MIN, $10,500)

At this point, there really isn’t a reason to avoid KD. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 30.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. He has scored 60+ fantasy points in five of his last seven games, and he gets a great matchup against a fast paced Minnesota team tonight. The Wolves have struggled defensively this season, but they have the ability to score and turn games into shootouts. He has double doubled in seven consecutive games, and he can be used in all leagues.

Rudy Gay (vs ORL, $6,000)

Gay will likely be the biggest beneficiary of the Cousins suspension, as he will likely shoot the ball 20+ times tonight. The Kings will rely heavily on him for offense, and the Magic have struggled against all scorers this season. Gay has scored 37.5 fantasy points in each of his last two games, and he shot 53.8% from the field in each of those games. Both teams are dealing with injuries, which means it will likely stay close and be high scoring. Gay can be used in all leagues, but he’s best suited for GPPs.

Lance Stephenson (vs NO, $4,400)

The Grizzlies have a serious problem, as Mike Conley and Mario Chalmers are both dealing with injuries. Memphis recently signed Briante Weber, who has tremendous at VCU, but may not be ready to play in the NBA. That means the Grizzlies will have to rely on someone else as a facilitator, and my guess is Lance Stephenson. He played well for the Pacers with the ball in his hands, and he hasn’t had the same opportunity since leaving Indiana a few years ago. He gets a great matchup against the Pelicans, who love to push the pace, and Stephenson can be used in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside (at CHI, $8,200)

Whiteside isn’t going to come cheap, but he’s far and away the best option at center tonight. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 17.8 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks in only 29.3 minutes per game. He has the ability to triple double with points, rebounds, and blocks on any given night, and he gets a great matchup against the Bulls tonight. Chicago has been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the center this season, and Whiteside can be used in all leagues.
